Samruddhi Expressway sees 1.55 crore vehicles in FY26, toll collection crosses Rs 1,240 crore
The Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Expressway saw 1.55 crore vehicles in 2025-26, generating toll revenue of Rs 1,240.04 crore, marking a sharp rise from the previous fiscal.The toll collection was higher by Rs 499.41 crore compared to 2024-25, officials said, citing data from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, according to PTI.The 701-km-long access-controlled corridor passes through 10 districts of Maharashtra.Data showed that when the expressway opened partially in 2022-23, about 13.59 lakh vehicles used the route, generating toll of Rs 106.41 crore in just four months.In 2023-24, the number of vehicles rose to 68.99 lakh, with toll collections of Rs 528.10 crore.The one-crore vehicle mark was crossed in 2024-25, when toll collections stood at Rs 740 crore.“In 2025-26, a total of 1.55 crore vehicles paid toll of Rs 1,240.04 crore. This is Rs 499.41 crore higher than the previous year’s toll collection. So far 3.44 crore vehicles have used Samruddhi Expressway and paid toll of Rs 2,660 crore,” the document said.The latest figures mark the first time toll collection on the expressway has crossed the Rs 1,000-crore mark in a financial year.
