Compliance with the National Building Code (NBC), local fire department guidelines and municipal regulations remains essential for every residential project. Every builder must obtain all necessary approvals and Fire No Objection Certificates (NOCs) before occupancy.However, compliance should be regarded as the minimum requirement instead of the end objective.
